to the fields of sheep
across a misted sky
to orange dots crowding
backyard trees
blues and greens blend
into a wintery mix
feeding the worked soil
underfoot i feel the
shaken olive fruit
i hear a dog's call
as a filled truck-bed
bounces along the field road
